Comparing Defense Innovation in the United States, China, Russia, and India

A scholarly exchange and dialogues funded by the Ford Foundation allowed IGCC to bring together a group of international experts to engage in meaningful discussion on topics related to defense economics, industry, technology, and management. The activities were part of a partnership between IGCC and the Central University of Finance and Economics Institute of Defense Economics and Management (IDEM).

Collaborative activities on these topics are rare between the United States and China, but essential to help to improve transparency, reduce mistrust, and open up new avenues for cooperation between the two countries. The addition of experts from Russia and India added a comparative dimension to the discussion.
