Washington Policy Briefings and Seminars

IGCC disseminates UC research results through policy briefings, seminars, conferences, and the IGCC UCDC Speaker Series. Participants include representatives from the U.S. government, foreign governments, nongovernmental organizations, international organizations, think tanks, foundations, and universities at home and abroad.

UC experts have provided testimony to Congress, briefed federal agencies, and consulted with practitioners. IGCC seeks to work closely with the U.S. Congress, both the House and the Senate, and in particular with the California Congressional delegation.

The Washington office actively supports the implementation of IGCC-funded faculty projects that showcase faculty research and promote interaction with practitioners. IGCC can provide office space, conference facilities and staff support for faculty research trips and special events.
