Apply for the 2018 PPNT Summer Boot Camp

The summer workshop-in-residence at UC San Diego, known as the PPNT boot camp, aims to give participants the knowledge and analytic tools to contribute to the debate on future US nuclear policy.

The boot camp features lectures, discussions, debates, and policy simulations. Participants attend talks by distinguished researchers, academics, policy officials, and operational specialists from leading universities, the National Laboratories, international organizations, and government agencies dealing with dealing with nuclear threats, command and control, international safeguards, nonproliferation strategies, and other nuclear issues.

  • Have your attachments ready before you start. Attachments must be pdfs. 
  • All graduate student and postdoc applicants need a current CV, personal statement, and transcript. You can upload as one pdf or three. 
  • An unofficial transcript is acceptable. Please make sure that your transcript pdf is not locked.
  • Graduate students and postdocs also need a letter of recommendation. The recommender must send directly to IGCC. See the instructions. Letters of recommendation are due by FRIDAY, MARCH 9, 2018.
