Olivier Deschenes is associate professor in the Department of Economics at UC Santa Barbara and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His current research focuses on the economic and health impacts of global climate change and the relationship between energy and labor markets. He holds a PhD in economics from Princeton University.
