IGCC and the UC Campuses
IGCC's strength as a multi-campus research unit (MRU) serving the University of California lies in the unique contributions of each affiliated campus program and in projects with the UC-affiliated Lawrence Livermore (LLNL) and Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL).
Each of the campus partners supports UC faculty and students through grants, fellowships, research and teaching assistantships, internships, and employment opportunities. Program activities such as lectures, workshops, and seminars involve faculty, students, and community members across the state in debate and discussion on scholarship related to global conflict and cooperation.
IGCC also continues to seek innovative projects in partnership with the Los Alamos and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories. These partnerships focus on ways to coordinate joint campus/lab events, provide lab-based fellowship opportunities, and encourage faculty and student scholarship exchange with the national laboratories.
